“Perfect” flowers are boring. Organic arrangements (organic = natural extension of self…in this scenario) are far more interesting and aesthetically pleasing. I try to refrain from using the word “hate” but I can’t contain myself: I hate extravagant, oversized, gaudy flower arrangements at weddings. In my opinion, those types of arrangements totally distract from the [...] I’m always looking for an excuse to invite girlfriends over and drink tons of bubbly with lots of fresh juice mixed in. As if I’m some master hostess just because I love to setup a mimosa bar…I just really enjoy bubbly and fruit juice. I think a sangria bar will be my next venture! Yes, the ceiling decor is probably more decadent than the average DIY wedding, but I love how the room has very little floral but went balls out with the candles. This is a perfect example of how candlelight has a huge impact on ambience and decor…and yes, flowers are [...] This is a super short post…because time is limited at the moment; but I will be following up shortly with a million more reasons for you to believe the following statement: Carnations can be gorgeous.
