I recently stumbled on the work of Vivian Maier, a prolific documentary photographer that seemingly never found an audience for her work (not too sure she ever looked for one). 15+ years of incessant photographing of Chicago life yielded thousands of negatives (many still undeveloped) and thankfully John Maloof found the work at an antique auction. Maloof is now sharing Maier’s work via this blog. Needless to say, I’m giddy with anticipation.

How coool! Posthumous processing. A bygone possibility
